Entry rulesKazakhstan
Kazakhstan's embassy describes the ETA as recommended, but not mandatory, for visa-exempt nationals during the pilot period.

| Country | Kazakhstan |
|---|---|
| Who is affected | Nationals eligible for visa-free entry to Kazakhstan |
| Previous rule | Reports about a fee proposal. |
| New rule | Recommended, not mandatory, during the pilot; check any later requirement separately. |
The electronic travel authorisation, or ETA, is part of the state QazETA platform. According to Kazakhstan's embassy, it is recommended but not mandatory for nationals of visa-exempt countries during the pilot period.
A planned future requirement is separate from the current pilot rule. The earlier fee proposal does not establish a general payment obligation today. This report does not assert a binding start date for a general requirement.
Check the current official conditions for your passport before departure. ETA, visa eligibility and permitted length of stay remain separate questions; an ETA does not guarantee entry.
As of · Binding information is provided by the competent foreign mission.
