Terms and Conditions
SOLO FLORENTIN Showbusiness- und Verlagsgesellschaft mbH · Visumcenter · Oeder Weg 14, 60318 Frankfurt am Main
1. Scope and contracting party
These Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for services provided by SOLO FLORENTIN Showbusiness- und Verlagsgesellschaft mbH, trading as Visumcenter, Oeder Weg 14, 60318 Frankfurt am Main (referred to below as “Visumcenter”).
A consumer is any natural person who concludes the contract mainly for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. A business customer is any natural or legal person or partnership with legal capacity acting in the course of its commercial or independent professional activity when concluding the contract.
2. Services
Visumcenter assists with the preparation, review, coordination and submission of visa and consular services. The exact scope follows from the service description and the order summary or order confirmation.
Only the competent authority decides on visas, documents, appointments and processing times. Visumcenter owes the agreed service, not the issue of a visa or any particular official decision.
A refusal or a different decision by an authority does not in itself constitute a defect in a Visumcenter service performed in accordance with the contract. Claims arising from Visumcenter's own breach of duty remain unaffected.
3. Formation and language of the contract
The presentation on the website is not a binding offer. A personal enquiry is initially used to clarify the request and prepare an offer. In the online order form, the customer submits a binding offer for the stated service at the displayed total price by selecting the button marked as placing an order with an obligation to pay.
Visumcenter reviews the order and expressly confirms acceptance by email. The invoice is issued as part of this acceptance process. A technical acknowledgement of receipt alone is not an acceptance. For existing orders completed through a separate online payment process, the ordering conditions displayed there apply; a payment confirmation alone does not replace acceptance.
If Visumcenter cannot accept the order, payments already received will be refunded without undue delay. Consumers receive the contract confirmation and the legally required information on a durable medium, normally by email.
Online ordering is available in German only. The contract language is German. Before submitting your order, you can review your details in the order summary and correct them using the edit and back controls. We store the contract text and provide the contractual documents by email so you can save and print them.
4. Prices, third-party costs and payment
Before the order is placed, the total price of the selected service is displayed. Service and consular fees are included in the price, together with statutory VAT where applicable. Additional services selected by the customer are shown separately.
The confirmed total price applies to the agreed scope of service. Changes to included consular fees do not result in an additional charge. Additional services require explicit agreement. Payment is due at the time stated in the order summary or invoice.
Refusal of a visa or another requested authorisation by the competent authority does not automatically entitle the customer to reimbursement of the order amount. Refusal alone does not entitle the customer to reimbursement for Visumcenter services already performed in accordance with the contract. This requires proper performance of the agreed service; official approval is not guaranteed.
Claims arising from Visumcenter's own breach of duty, a valid statutory cancellation or other statutory grounds for reimbursement remain unaffected. Services not performed and authority or third-party costs are accounted for under applicable law and section 8 of these Terms. Third-party costs that have not been incurred or are refundable are not treated as non-refundable across the board.
5. Customer cooperation
The customer supplies all required information and documents completely, accurately and on time. The customer checks information transferred by Visumcenter and reports apparent errors or changes without undue delay.
Delays or additional work caused by missing, late or incorrect information may affect processing. Visumcenter informs the customer of material consequences and necessary additional services.
6. Processing times and express services
Stated processing times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as binding. Official reviews, appointment allocation, border controls and transit times are outside Visumcenter's control.
An express service accelerates only the steps that Visumcenter can influence. It does not guarantee an official decision or a particular travel date.
7. Cancellation right and early performance
Consumers generally have a statutory right to cancel distance contracts. Details are set out in the cancellation policy.
If a consumer expressly requests Visumcenter to begin before the cancellation period expires and cancels before the service is complete, the law may require reasonable payment for the proportion already performed.
For a service, the cancellation right expires only after complete performance if the consumer expressly agreed to early performance and confirmed awareness that the right would be lost on complete performance. Statutory reimbursement claims remain unaffected.
8. Termination outside the cancellation right
Outside an existing cancellation right, an order may be terminated in accordance with applicable law. Only services and expenses payable under the law or a valid agreement will be charged.
Authority and third-party costs are not retained as a flat amount. The decisive question is whether they have already been incurred, are non-refundable and are legally payable by the customer. Visumcenter provides a transparent breakdown.
9. Shipping and original documents
The shipping method and recipient address follow from the order. The customer informs Visumcenter of address changes without undue delay. Visumcenter is liable for loss or damage in accordance with applicable law.
Original documents are retained only for as long as necessary for the order. Statutory rights of retention remain unaffected.
10. Liability
Visumcenter is liable in accordance with applicable law. This applies in particular to intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, liability under product liability law and the scope of any guarantee given.
Visumcenter is not liable for the substance of an authority's decision. Its own duties of review, information and care, as well as mandatory statutory claims, remain unaffected.
11. Data protection
Information about the processing of personal data, recipients, transfers to third countries, retention periods and data-subject rights is provided in the Privacy Policy.
12. Consumer dispute resolution
Visumcenter is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
13. Final provisions
German law applies. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of mandatory protection under the law of the country in which they habitually reside.
Frankfurt am Main is the place of jurisdiction for merchants, legal persons under public law and special funds under public law. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply to consumers.
Cancellation policy forms part of the consumer information.
