Germany's Federal Foreign Office warns against travel within 20 km of Cambodia and strongly advises against travel to specified southern areas.

The warning covers the area within 20 kilometres of the Cambodian border. According to the travel advice, all border crossings between the two countries remain closed.
Travel to Narathiwat, Yala and Pattani, and the districts of Chana, Na Thawi, Thepha and Saba Yoi in Songkhla, is strongly discouraged.
Recheck your route and any planned border crossings before departure. The partial travel warning does not apply to all of Thailand. It is separate from visa requirements and permitted length of stay. Follow local security instructions.
